She was predeceased by: her parents, George Shashek and Lillian Shashek; her son Larry G. Firkus; and her brother Jerry Shashek. She is survived by: her husband Raymond J. Firkus; her children, Jim J. Firkus (Toni), Greg P. Firkus (Pat Murphy) and Marikay Firkus of Saint Charles, MO; her daughter-in-law Marie A. Firkus; her grandchildren, Kacie Jo White (Marty), Dane G. Firkus, Andrew J. "Andy" and Alexandra N. Firkus; and her great grandchildren, Savannah White and Grady White.
