He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Reding and Melvin E. Reding; his stepfathers, Robert "Red" Novak and Stanley Brauer; his siblings, Clarence Reding, Marianne Schulte and Janet Ripperda; and his brothers-in-law, Alphonse "Phonse" Ripperda and Charles Missey.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Landolt-Reding of Highland, IL; his children, Darren Reding (Daphne), Carrie Handling (Rob) of Bunker Hill, IL, Chad Reding (Jessie) and Tara Kampwerth (Dale) of St Rose, IL; his stepchildren, Nicholas Landolt (Lauren) of Highland, IL and Stephanie Landolt of Murphysboro, IL; his siblings, Lola "Tootie" Missey, Scott Novak (Lynn) of Highland, IL and Sherry Bresnahan (Charles); and his brother-in-law Mike Olson of Highland, IL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
