He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Miller and Esther Miller Former; and his son Edward L. "Ed" Miller. He is survived by: his wife Jacquelin A. "Jackie" Miller of Highland, IL; his daughters, Carol L. Miller of Saint Jacob, IL and Patricia A. Schutjer (Doug) of Doe Run, MO.; his daughter-in-law Gail A. Miller of Highland, IL; his stepsons, Jeffrey J. Jondro (Brenda) of Breese, IL and Christopher P. Jondro (Jennifer) of Mulberry Grove, IL; his sister Marilyn Warren (Gary) of Highland, IL; and his brother-in-law Marvin Docter of Collinsville, IL.. He is also survived by Niece and Nephew 4 Great Nieces and 1 Nephew.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
