She was predeceased by: her father Elam L. Frutiger; her husband Jerry E. Schmitt; her mother Lila C. Frutiger-Huber; her stepfather Merl H. Huber; her brothers, Lloyd Frutiger and Wayne Frutiger; and her sister-in-law Linda Frutiger.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Ann Frank (Bruce) of St. Jacob, IL and Darren E. Schmitt of St. Jacob, IL; her granddaughters, Brittany A. Frank of Collinsville, IL and Bailey A. Frank of Highland, IL; and her sister-in-law Sokun Frutiger of Collinsville, IL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Jacob United Church of Christ (207 W Main St, St Jacob, IL 62281). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jacob United Church of Christ Memorial Fund (207 West Main St, St. Jacob, IL 62281) or to Keystone Cemetery (PO Box 275, St. Jacob, IL 62281).
