She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Hawkins and Mary Hawkins; and her brother Danny Ray Hawkins. She is survived by: her husband David Schmitt of Highland, Illinois; her sister Donna Holloway of Belleville, Illinois; and her stepsons, David Schmitt and Mark Schmitt. She is also survived by one step grandson; numerous nieces, nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (1777 IL-160, Highland, IL 62249).
