He is survived by: his wife Ethel Poettker of Highland, IL; his children, Kevin Poettker (Cindy) of Highland, IL, Lonie Poettker (Kim), Sherry Wiegmann (Gary) and Alan Poettker; his grandchildren, Chelsey Richter (Brett), Lyndsey Poettker (Garret Gelly), Fallon Oglesby (Travis) and Lexis Wiegmann; his great grandchildren, Trace and Aubrey; and his pet Dusty.

Memorials may be made to the Madison County Humane Society.
