Gruber Jr. of Highland, Illinois, born in Mexico, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2024 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his father Bryan J. Gruber; and his sister Janice Ann Leach. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his son Scott Gruber (Wendy Holloway) of Edwardsville, Ill; his godson Shannon Acree (Christine) of Irving, California; his brother E. Randall Gruber (Teresa) of St. Louis; his brother-in-law George Leach of Centralia; and his grandchildren, Frankie Holloway, Mercedes, Hunter and Faith Acree. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Mexico, Audrain Humane Society (Pet Pals) or to Got Your Six Support Dogs.
