She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence and Genia Bastien Sr.; her husband Gail Palmer; and her brothers, Clarence Bastien Jr. and Roland Bastien.

She is survived by: her children, Ronald Palmer (Kay) of Walnut Creek, CA and Sue Holtgrave (Paul) of Highland, IL; her grandchildren, Tracy Holtgrave, Craig Holtgrave (Julie), Larry Palmer (Ashley) and Scott Palmer (Cara); and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Gavin Holtgrave, Maddison, Peyton, Chase, Abigail, Joseph and Benjamin Palmer. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First Congregational Church of Highland or the Donor's choice.
