She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Hohrein and Clara Hohrein; her husband Charles Jules "Charlie" Mires; her stepgrandson Michael J. Mires; her brother Cletus E. Hohrein; and her siblings-in-law, Marcella "Sally" Hohrein and Donald "Don" Seifried.
She is survived by: her children, Edward "Ed" Luke (Xiaoling Tong) and Laura Luke (Mike LaForge); her stepchildren, Deborah Bridges and Charles J. "Chuck" Mires, Jr.; her grandchildren, Helen Peng, Tessa Luke and Brady Gwynn; and her siblings, Norbert Hohrein and Rosemary Seifried.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
