He is survived by: his wife Joyce E. Haislar; his daughter Darla G. Goedelmann; his grandchildren, Scott A. Brave (Tammy), Marissa L. Robinson (Nathan) and Evan M. Goedelmann; his great grandchildren, Jameson T. Brave, Declan S. Brave, Eoin J. Brave, Caitriona J. Brave, Caitlin G. Robinson and Claire E. Robinson; and his brothers, Frederick Haislar (Sally) of Highland, IL and Frank Haislar of Salem, IL..
