He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Porter and Richard Allen Porter; his son Todd Michael Porter; and his siblings, Athel Porter, Elsie Campbell, Annabelle Williams, Lester Porter and Hiram Porter.
He is survived by: his wife Velma Jean Porter of Highland, IL; his son Richard A. Porter, Sr. (Kathy) of Highland, IL; his daughter-in-law Robin Porter of Highland, IL; his grandchildren, Richard A. Porter, Jr. (Danielle) of Highland, IL, Megan Marie Porter (Justin Giger) of Highland, IL and Amanda Leigh Porter (Matt Dixon) of Highland, IL; his great grandchildren, Travis C. Porter of Highland, IL, Kylee E. Hediger of Highland, IL, Carson A. Porter of Highland, IL, Alexis M. Porter of Highland, IL, Savannah J. Porter of Highland, IL and Zane M. Dixon of Highland, IL; and his sisters, Lillian Bathom of Nashville, IL and Eileen Sronce of Normal, IL. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
