He was predeceased by: his parents, Donato Grippo and Carmela De Bonis Grippo; his sisters, Maria and Flora; and his daughter Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Theodore, Daniel, Patricia and Teri Stanley (Carl); his stepdaughters, Julie Hamilton and Pam Nichols (David); his grandchildren, Anthony Grippo (Andriana), Conor, Lauren Stanley, Matthew, Nicholas Hamilton, Charles and Lilly Nichols; and his great grandchildren, James, Nathan and Alaina Grippo.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home (1787 Deerfield Rd, Highland Park, IL 60035). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Norbert Church (1809 Walters Ave, Northbrook, IL 60062). A procession was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at the Randhill Park Cemetery (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
