It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Lloyd Parks of Highland Park, Illinois, who passed away on May 6, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Hillman and Lloyd Parks. He is survived by: his children, Jim Parks (Linda Levin Parks) of Evanston, IL, Janet Parks (Ed Wann) of Kensington, CA and Barb Parks (Aaron Bransky) of Duluth, MN.; his great grandchildren, Jessica Parks (Mark Smirl), Spencer Parks (Sharon Pawluczyk Parks) and Ryan Chahrour (Andrea Guiliani Chahrour); and his children, Lucy, Nolan, Isla, Andrew Chahrour (Alex Madsen), Joel Bransky and Claire Bransky. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Over his adult years Russ bounced back from multiple heart attacks, open heart surgery, implanted stents, falls, cancer, covid and more.
