He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis and Charles; his former wife Heather; and his wife Joan. He is survived by: his sons, Craig (Angie Wise) of Portland, Scott (Tracy) and Stuart (Katie); his stepchildren, Michael Schaen (Ann), Lisa Pennington (Bill Pennington) of Plano and Doug Schaen (Carol); and his great grandchildren, Anneliese Mizwicki (Dan Mizwicki), Nicholas Opfer, Audrey Opfer, Lorin Fiehler (Kyle Fiehler), Austin Opfer, Alix Shantz (Riley Shantz), Kasey Opfer, Drew Opfer, Brandon Opfer, Nicole Heacock (Scott Heacock), Jenna Robare (Mike Robare), Jason Schaen, Samantha Reeve (Nathan Reeve), Elizabeth "Lulu" Fiehler, Camryn Fiehler, Jack Shantz, Benjamin Reeve, Sydney Reeve, Navy Robare and Lennox Robare. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
