It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Edward Burns of Highland Park, Illinois, who passed away on December 5, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Griselda Burns; his daughter Jessica Smith; his son-in-law Timothy Smith (Jessica Smith); and his granddaughter Olivia Smith.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Immaculate Conception Church.
