He is survived by: his wife Joan Gunn; his children, Lieutenant Colonel Sean (Idalia), Patrick (Kimberly) and Christina Sorrentino (Jon); his grandchildren, Lexi, Teddy, Piper, Teagan, Lauren and Douglas; his great grandchildren, Hayden and Annabelle; and his siblings, Thomas (late Winikay), Judith Coughlin (Raymond), Theodore (Rhonda), Gregory (Mary), Jonathan (Nancy) and Alice Mugnaini (Dean).
