She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Nelson and Mary Alice Rowlett (Piper); her son Kenneth Malench; and her sister Peggy Jane Lester. She is survived by: her sons, Keith Malench (Maureen Monton) of Glen Carbon, Terry Malench of Tarpon Springs and Robert Malench (Karyn) of Highland Park, Illinois; her grandchildren, Alex Malench and Selene Malench; and her sister Donna Pflanz of St. Louis. She is also survived by nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.
Memorials may be made to the N.A.M.I. National Alliance for Mental Illness and may be accepted at the funeral chapel.
