With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lorraine DeMars (Highland Park, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sigmund Osimowicz and Jadwiga "Harriet" Osimowicz (Zielinski); her siblings, Gerrie, Geraldine Osimowicz and Richard Osimowicz; her niece Sheri Mallard (Sims); her siblings-in-law, George DeMars, Jim DeMars, Dee DeMars and Evelyn Osimowicz; and her friend Maria Ocasio.
She is survived by: her brother Lawrence Sims (Larry); her friend Shirley Sokoloski; her spouse Terry DeMars; her daughters, Michelle Lorraine (Tom Holleman) and Karen (Andrew Pillsbury); her grandchildren, Ethan (Erica Littman), Gerrit, Matt Holleman, Grace and Grant Pillsbury; her brother Larry Sims (Dorothy); her friends, Winnie Makowski (Szpara) and Shirley Murawski (Sokoloski); and her siblings-in-law, Diane Antczak, Judy DeMars, Fran DeMars, Marvin and Tim DeMars (Ann Marie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, dear friends, and neighbors.
