He was predeceased by: his parents, Rabbi Eric and Pearl Friedland; and his sister Rachel Zuckerman. He is survived by: his wife Roberta "Robbie" (Grossman); his sons, Joel (Stacy), Mark and David (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Carly (Justin Goldstein), Erica (Rome Ish-Hurwitz), Sam, Coby, Noa and Mia; and his great grandchildren, Peyton and Cecilia.

The family requests attendees wear face masks.
