Irene Shanes Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Shanes (Highland Park, Illinois), who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Samuel Shanes; her sons, Daniel Shanes (Diane), Robert Shanes (Katya), Joshua Shanes (Elisheva), Jacob Shanes and Jonathan Shanes; her grandchildren, Shoshanah Shanes (Rachel), Sarah Shanes, Hannah Shanes, Noah Shanes, Lev Shanes, Nadia Shanes, Brocha Shanes, Levi Shanes, Rosa Shanes, Ezra Frankel, Ari Frankel and Toby Frankel; and her sister Barbara Stevens (Charles).
