He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Block and Anna Block; his in-laws, Bernard and Jeanette Baygood; and his sister Muriel Kasanov (late Haskell).
He is survived by: his significant other Arlene; his children, Robert Block (Audrey), Laurie Block and Lisa Block; his grandchildren, Joshua Block (Talia) and Jamie Lee (Ralph); his great grandchildren, Siena Lee, Jaden and Gideon Block; his siblings, Carol Whited (late Harry) and Lawrence Block (Abby); and his siblings-in-law, Marcia Plonsker and Kenneth Baygood (Louise).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Skokie Chapel - Under The (8851 Skokie Blvd, Skokie, IL 60077). A burial was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 1:45 PM and at 8:00 PM at the Westlawn Cemetery (7801 W Montrose Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). A shiva will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Buddy and Arlene's Residence (964 Coventry Ln, Highland Park, IL 60035).
