He was predeceased by: his wife Marian; his daughter Victoria Vazquez; his daughter-in-law Vickie Swanson; and his sisters, Ruth Boyd and Dorothy Gleason.
He is survived by: his sons, Harry E. Swanson, Jr., Bill Swanson (Mary) and Thomas Swanson (Rosanne); and his grandchildren, Steven Vasquez (Sarah), Rebecca Hartmann (Derek), Cathleen Frisbie (Timothy), Ann Griffin (Daniel), Angela Swanson, Emma Swanson, Jacob Swanson, Caitlin Swanson and Colin Swanson. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home (120 W Park Ave, Libertyville, IL 60048). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to American Legion Post #329, 715 N. Milwaukee Ave. Libertyville, IL 60048.
