He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl "Cully" and Agnes E. Carlson (McNeill); his wife Carmelita; his siblings, George A. Carlson, Roy "Bushy" Carlson, Donald Carlson, Catherine Carlson, Lila Davis and Carol Ann Stebic; and his cousin Wilmer "Whimmy" Carlson.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Carlson, Jerry Carlson, Robert Carlson and Mary Jo Marshall (Jim); his granddaughter Cecilia Gonzales; his great grandchildren, Gigi and Cash Gonzales; his sister Marie Marti; his nephew Ronald Thompson; and his great-nephew Ron. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
