He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Kane and Florence Kane; and his sister Syril Garfinkle. He is survived by: his wife Renee; his daughters, Susan Kane, Pam Padda (Gurpreet) and Lisa Kane (Chris); and his grandchildren, Hannah Padda, Ari Padda, Quincy Weaver and Sela Weaver.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.
