He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Uhlmann and Rosamond Uhlmann; and his sister Janis (Joe Weil). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Uhlmann (Strauss); his children, Richard (Lisa), Gina, Thomas (Karen), Karen (Robert) and Elizabeth (Michael); his grandchildren, Daniel (Rosie), Zachary (Martha), Matthew, Alexander (Amanda), Evan, Gregory (Sam), Jackson (Jill), Teddy, Molly (Matthew), Haley (Matthew), Hannah, Samuel, Allison and Julia; his great grandchildren, Menelik, Emma, Chase, Zoe, Hana, Ellie and Liv; his sister Audrey (John); and his sister-in-law Barbara Lowenbaum. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
