He is survived by: his sons, Stuart Allen (Christine) and David Allen; his grandchildren, Sarah Chapin (Trevor), Sam Allen (Laken) and Max Allen (Laura McTaggart); his great grandchildren, Grayson, Evelyn, Auggie and Tatum; and his nieces and nephews, Paula David (Uri), Judith Frank (Liz Garland), Tony Frank (Rachel), Barbara Cobert Joseph (Larry) and Jody Cobert Berns (Randy).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Westlawn Cemetery (7801 W Montrose Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). A shiva was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 3:30 PM and at 8:00 PM at the Fred Allen's Residence (1762 Linden Ave, Highland Park, IL 60035).
