He was predeceased by: his parents, Paolo Amidei and Virginia Assunta Amidei (Cesarotti); and his siblings, Lina Pieri (late Bobby), Marta Beluomoni (late Silvio), Gina Giovanini (late Alessio), Giuseppina Setti (late Angelo) and Carlo Amidei (late Maria).
He is survived by: his wife Assunta; his children, Marco Amidei (Aynsley) of Libertyville and Sandra Amidei of Libertyville; his grandchildren, Ava, Maya, Gianna, Alyssa and Joey; and his sibling Milta Nizzi (Mike) of Highland Park.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home (858 Sheridan Rd, Highwood, IL 60040). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church (770 Deerfield Rd, Highland Park, IL 60035). An entombment will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:45 PM at the Ascension Catholic Cemetery (6300 N Ridge Ave, Chicago, IL 60660).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Misericordia Heart of Mercy, an organization that was dear to Emo's heart.
