David Adashek Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Adashek of Highland Park, Illinois, who passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sara Adashek and David Adashek; and his siblings, Earl Adashek (Freda) and Harriet Schefrin. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his children, Jamie Adashek of Denver, CO, Lisa Del Campo (Roberto), Daniel Adashek (Hongvien), Jonathan Adashek (Jeannie) and Andrew Adashek (Phet); his stepson Jon Cohen (Genevieve Gonzalez-Turner); and his grandchildren, Alec Ottevanger, Sara, Jordan Freed, Alenna, Nicholas Del Campo, Miles, Simon, Dylan, Benjamin, Ariel, Mikaela, Ava Adashek, Emilia and Ethan Cohen-Gonzalez. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and so many friends.

Due to the pandemic, he was comforted in the hospital by visits from his loving wife Pam, frequent zoom calls with all of his children and grandchildren and was surrounded by the music he loved.
