She was predeceased by: her son Michael Aksland. She is survived by: her husband Rudolph Aksland; her sister Barbara Vaccarella (Lee Vaccarella); her sons, Jeffrey and David Aksland; her daughter-in-law Stephanie Aksland; her grandsons, Erik (Bailey), Christopher and Alexander Aksland; and her great grandchild Espen Aksland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home (1787 Deerfield Rd, Highland Park, IL 60035). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the West Lawn Memorial Park (9000 Washington Ave, Racine, WI 53406).
