She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. McGough and Ella Charlotte Collins McGough; her husband William George; her children, John Francis and Carol Anne; and her brothers, Francis, Leo, John and Edward McGough.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Mary "Mimi" (Frank Ferrone), Catherine Conley (Kevin), Anne Jensen (Todd), William "Tim" (Anne), Eileen Ourth (Joe) and Leo (Heather). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a second great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chicago Botanic Garden in Susie's name.
