She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Smithson and Nova Smithson. She is survived by: her half-sisters, Arlene and Velva; her husband Maurice; her stepson Scott; and her children, Colleen Murphy (Jeff Barr), Valerie Hoit (Brian), Mike (Darlene), Bill (Nancy), Beth and John. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home (1787 Deerfield Rd, Highland Park, IL 60035). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
