It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velina Lois Dooley of Hidalgo, Illinois, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Walden and Lucille Walden (Markwell); her husband Philip; and her son Philip Stephen Dooley. She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Chapman of Memphis and Jody Bierman (Bret) of Hidalgo, IL; her grandchildren, Kristin Radke (Kevin) of Hidalgo, Mitch Chapman (Lindsey) of Indianapolis, IN., Kyle Heuerman (Jennifer) of Greenup, Jordan Heuerman (Brittany) of Hidalgo, Stetson Bierman of Hidalgo, Randall Dooley of Hidalgo and Ross Dooley (Alex) of Mason, IL; and her great grandchildren, Ella, Lily Velina, Lola, Kruz Radke, Kayla, Jillian, Nicholas, Owen, Piper Chapman, Drew, Korra Anderson-Dooley, Kenzi and Kimber Heuerman. She is also survived by many close friends and family.
