She was predeceased by: her parents, Denzel Spencer and Dorothy Spencer (Parcel); her husband Teddy Marrs; her brothers, Billy and Denzel Spencer; and her daughter Amy Young (Robert).

She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Shull (Brad) and Karen Buettemeyer (Kim); her son-in-law Robert Young (Marla); her grandsons, Brady Shull (Alissa), Brandon Shull (Lindsay) and Brock Shull; her great grandchildren, Alivia, Faith, Amy, Hannah, Alice, Savannah and Isaac; and her sister Ruth Bell of Cahokia.

“Dear Family, We are so sorry to just learn of your mom's passing, but we know that she is with Jesus and not suffering any longer, and may even be talking with the saints already! We loved her and always appreciated her smiles and talking with her when we would come to Hidalgo to be with my mom and Jack. She had beautiful flowers and was beautiful like them!
