She was predeceased by: her husband Charles B. Hamel; her parents, Maurice Boens and Elva Boens; and her sister Genevieve Williams (late Robert). She is survived by: her children, Michael (Teri), Steven (Gina), Robert (Beth), Thomas (Victoria), Daniel (Linda) and Linda Hamel.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patricia Catholic Church (9050 S 86th Ave, Hickory Hills, IL 60457).
