He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Shepherd and Ethel Hinthorne Shepherd; and his children, Ronnie Shepherd and Carol Ann Shepherd. He is survived by: his spouse Aleta J. Arnold; his children, David Shepherd (Eva) of Heyworth, Jeff Shepherd of Heyworth and Penny Boston (Jimmy) of Tucson, AZ; his grandchildren, Jennifer Klaus (Don), Mike Shepherd (Jennifer), Dan Shepherd, Jon Shepherd (Lacey), Brad Shepherd (Ashley), James Dean Boston, Jesse Lawrence Boston, Jennifer Lynn Boston, Josh Matthew Boston, Jasmine Joleen Boston, Journey Nicole Boston and Jessica Marie Boston; and his siblings, Donald Shepherd of Bloomington, Tuffy Shepherd (Lily) of Clinton, Russell Shepherd (Val) of Philippe, WV, Butch Shepherd (Lisa) of Missouri and Phyllis of Clinton. He is also survived by twenty-eight great-grandchildren and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
