He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Oakley and Mary Ellen Oakley (Berry). He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Oakley (Baynes); his children, Cheri Oakley, Cynthia (Craig Smith) and Douglas (Elizabeth Oakley); and his sister Joyce (Ted Rinkel). He is also survived by many friends and other family members.
