He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kjarsti; his children, John Ladage (Jenae) of Ivensdale, Jane Kauffman (Kevin) of Bloomington, Rebecca Nelson (Mitch) of Normal, Daniel Ladage (Peggy) of Bloomington and Charlotte "Charlie" Ladage; his grandchildren, Levi Kauffman and Ava Ladage; his sisters, Pam Mendenhall of Springfield and Cheryl Giacomini (Bob) of New Berlin; his brothers-in-law, Rob Sapp (Tracy) of Goodfield and Ben Sapp (Wendy) of Sherman; his aunt Wanda Ladage of Chatham; and his uncle Duane Shadwell (Joyce) of Effingham. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins, all who loved Steve. He was preceded in death by his parents.
