He was predeceased by: his grandson Sam Deal; and his father-in-law Harry Wyant. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Deal and Marilyn Deal (Butgereit); his wife Christine Deal; his sons, Marcus Deal (Lauren) and Joshua Deal (Valerie); his grandchildren, Beckett, Nora, Levi and Andrew; his brothers, Stan Deal (Kim) and Steve Deal; his mother-in-law Nancy Wyant; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Burke (Bob), Karen Wyant and Roland Wyant (Angela). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cross Pointe Church of God.
