Simpkins of Heyworth, Illinois, born in Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on June 29, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Merle and Wilma F. Simpkins (Rich). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Roethe; his children, Gale W. Newton (Zoe), Robin L. Decker, Tim L. Newton, Clete Newton and Melinda Simpkins; and his brother Gary Allen Simpkins. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
