He was predeceased by: his parents, E. L. Deatrick and Lois Bishop Deatrick; and his siblings, Margaret Spalding, Charlene Bertram, Paul, Delmar and Roger Deatrick.
He is survived by: his spouse Nila Hamlow; and his daughters, Deanna Deatrick (David Bair) of Heyworth and Tracy Deatrick of Bloomington.
