He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Ruder and Alice Ruder (Fritz); his siblings, Lorraine LaVoie (Lloyd), Elaine Ziemer (Harold), Dorothy Schnell (Richard), Gerald Ruder (Lucy), Dr. Bernard Ruder and Leonard Ruder; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Hinderer, Terry Kyrouac and Robert Sicard.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Ferden; his children, Steve Ruder (Jennifer Omman) of Herscher, Stan Ruder (John Gobby) of Chicago, Scott Ruder (Leslie) of Nashville, TN, Shawn Ruder of Bradley, Sheila Carter (Mark) of Kankakee and Cheryl Winnicki (Len) of Herscher; his sisters, Beatrice Hinderer of Bourbonnais, Audrey Kyrouac of Bourbonnais, Joan Cowgill (Robert) of Florida and Betty Sicard of Florida; and his grandsons, Travis Winnicki (Kait) of Sandpoint, ID and Robert Winnicki (Kami) of Arkansas.
Memorials may be made in the amount of $20.00 for Masses at Immaculate Heart Seminary, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Uplifted Care.
