It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Weger of Herscher, Illinois, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bekelya and Anna Bekelya; her husband William E. Weger; and her sisters, Olga Wilson (Sam), Margaret Suhr (Norman), Yvonne Drysdale (Bill) and Pauline Muriada (Eugene).
She is survived by: her children, Donald Weger (Randy) and Diane Christensen (Ronald); her grandchildren, Amie, Matthew, Alexander, Christopher, Jamie and Andrew; and her great grandchildren, Easton, Donald, Declan, Sean, Margaret, Penelope and Brenna. She is also survived by other relatives and long-time friends.
