He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernal Varboncoeur and Josaline Martell Varboncoeur; his sister Clara; his siblings-in-law, Bruno Foester, Judy Varboncoeur and Paul Curwick; his brother Bernie; and his sister-in-law Joyce Varboncoeur.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Varboncoeur of Herscher; his children, Alan Varboncoeur of Burlington, WI and Ashley; his daughter-in-law Amy of Portland, OR; his grandchildren, Charlotte, Derek and Nathan Varboncoeur; and his siblings, Ritta Curwick of Watseka and Richard Varboncoeur of Watseka. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made for his grandchildren's education.
