It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Dennis Collins of Herrin, Illinois, who passed away on August 29, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Carl "Squint" and Alyta Eileen Collins (Robinson); and his brother Danny. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Collins; his children, Brian Collins (Shanna) and Valerie Collins; his grandchildren, Shelby Hughes and Brandon Collins; his brother David Collins (Maree); his niece Jessica Russell; and his pets, Abby and Murphy. He is also survived by several cousins and other numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, Wright Way Rescue Animal Shelter in Murphysboro, and The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
