He was predeceased by: his parents, Vaughn H. Walton and Victoria Walton; his wife Paulette Liegeois Rock; his son Paul Rock; and his sister Ruth Walton.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Marline Rock of Herrin; his grandsons, Joseph (Rosalinda Rock), Joel Rock of El Paso, TX, John Rock of Chattanooga, TN and Jeffery Rock of Herrin, IL; and his brother Charles "Chuck" Walton of Watseka, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
