He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard and Eva Melissa Sexton (Stephens); his siblings, Don, Gary, Billy Sexton, Mildred Hale, Evelyn Nation and Betty Rae Farris; and his grandson Donald Blum Jr..
He is survived by: his significant other Imogene Sexton; his daughters, LaDonna James, Cheryl Wallig and Glenda Zelazny (Mark); and his siblings, Paul Sexton, Mary Jane Cooper, Connie Chapman and Sharon Gaddis. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
