He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Shackleton (Goforth) and W. Maximilian Shackleton. He is survived by: his wife Gale Shackleton; his sons, Mike (Kathy) and Matt Shackleton (Meghan); his grandchildren, Stephan Shackleton (Malerie), Teal Felton (Michael), Austin Drury, Bridget, Ainsley, Max and Ben Shackleton; and his great grandchildren, Atlas, Indie Shackleton and Ollie Felton.

Memorials may be made in Tom's name to Autism Society of Southern Illinois.
