He is survived by: his children, Stepheney Lynn Carter of Johnston City, Steven Carter of Johnston City and Brooklen Marie Bowlin of Benton; his grandchildren, Julia Jones, Madison Carter, Kirstyn Carter, Ethan Carter, Harley Carter, Kaleb Carter, Brantley Lowery and Storm Carter; and his nieces and nephews, Jason Carter, Candice Carter, Cody Joe Carter, Mason Carter, Ricki Carter, Laci Carter and Kristin Jennings.
