He was predeceased by: his father Charles A. Horn; his uncle Richard Horn; and his aunt Barbara Horn Myrick. He is survived by: his mother Jennie May Absher (Marshall) of Herrin; his sister Mary Ann Houseworth (Roger Tolbert) of Herrin; his nephews, Tristan Houseworth (Whitney) of Carterville and Morgan Houseworth of Herrin; his brother-in-law Greg Houseworth of Herrin; and his aunts, Carolyn Middleton (Don) of Marion and Wilma Ridgway of Herrin.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School.
