She was predeceased by: her mother Edith Blanche Holland (Denosky); her husband Cloice Troy "Vin" Groover; her father James Elvis Holland; her sister Mattie Catherine Holland; and her aunt Lily Mae Cook (Holland).
She is survived by: her children, Melodie Hartman, Robert A. Sloat Jr. and Catherine Hartman. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
